What are some alternative treatments?

TENS Treatment

TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. TENS involves a small device that sends mild electrical pulses to nerves in the painful area. All it feels like is a vibrating or tapping sensation and it doesn't hurt. A TENS unit can help decrease the pain. If you are interested in it, you can talk to your doctor or physical therapist.

Using the tens for my bulging disc pain has helped me to go back to work. If the pain gets bad I put on my machine and am able to work longer. It really works for me.
