It is very important that you always wear gardening gloves when you are working outside. They need to have plenty of padding to protect your hands from getting cut or bitten. If you are going to pull weeds try pulling weeds in the mornings, because at that time, the ground is still damp with dew. The weeds will be easier to pull if the ground is wet.
