Driving Partner
If you are planning on driving a long distance, consider asking a close friend or family member to go with you. That way if you get tired or start hurting you can take a break and let the other person drive for a while.
Ice Chest
When going on a long trip pack an ice chest with cold water or other drinks of your choice, so you can have something to wash your medication down with and also it is very important that you donīt get dehydrated.
Refrigerated Medications
If you take medication that has to be refrigerated you can pack a small ice chest with ice packs and put your medication in it. Make sure you pack it good enough, where it wonīt be able to move around. This is a good idea if you have to go on a long car trip.
Many Stops
If you are going on a long car trip, you need to remember to stop as much as possible to stretch your joints to prevent stiffness and to help you avoid fatigue.
